This is a topic that needs to be discussed since most of the children that are birthing children were unmarried. It’s not simply a matter of IF the storm comes; it’s a matter of when. With that being said, all children need to have savings account, as well as a plan for when an emergency arises. Our objective is to reach one child at a time by promoting the importance of saving, abstinence and preventing bullying. We believe if we are able to make an impact on more than one child, then we have ultimately exceeded our goals. However, we feel that if we make a long-lasting impact on one individual, then that child may in return, share information or tools that were discussed and make an impact on another child or others. MEnYOUTH’s initial goal is to hold at least one (1) speaking event at a location once per month. She has experience working in the healthcare industry for 10 years. Most recently, Jasmine graduated with a certification in Cyber-Security Networking at Aiken Technical College. She is currently attending Augusta University where she is working toward obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Cyber-Security. When Jasmine is not working on furthering her education, her hobbies include spending quality time with family/friends and watching movies. Jasmine’s dream job is to become a movie reviewer. Jasmine has a deep passion for community service and assisting the youth in any way she can. She has spent a countless number of hours volunteering with organizations such as Run United and assisting her nephew with his annual coat drive (Noah’s Way). She is married with three children (Sebastian, Isabella and Alyssia). Sheena is a business professional with 10+ years of experience in customer services, sales, finance/accounting and marketing. She received her Associates of Arts in Accounting Fundamentals, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Finance from the University of Phoenix. Sheena is very passionate about professional development, mentoring and community involvement. She has been involved with MEnYOUTH since 2020, where she would later serve as Chief of Financial Officer. Sheena will provide administrative and finance support to the MEnYOUTH non-profit organization. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries.
